Â鶹´«Ã½×ÊÔ´

This fund gives students hands-on and experiential learning opportunities that foster creativity and inter-disciplinary cooperation. All funds raised directly support the development of an outdoor classroom known as the Â鶹´«Ã½×ÊÔ´ Outdoor Ecolab.

In 2017, an 18-metre female blue whale was found dead near Liverpool, Nova Scotia. From this discovery, Dive In: The Blue Whale Project was born. Since then, members of the Â鶹´«Ã½×ÊÔ´ community have been restoring the bones, which will eventually become an exhibit in Â鶹´«Ã½×ÊԴ’s Steele Ocean Sciences Building.  

Many of our alumni find themselves reconnecting with their current and past Dal Science communities through volunteering.
