Building an inclusive community

Â鶹´«Ã½×ÊÔ´ is committed to growing the number of diverse scholars pursuing graduate degrees at the university. We encourage you to complete the self-identification section of the scholarship application. This information supports our efforts to prioritize your application in the evaluation processes for major awards.Ìý

In particular, we are working to ensure access for students of African Nova Scotian and Mi’kmaq decent. To help build a pathway for these students, each year we reserve Nova Scotia Graduate Scholarships at theÌý³¾²¹²õ³Ù±ð°ù’sÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýdoctoralÌýlevel for eligible African Nova Scotian and Mi’kmaq applicants.

We also offer dedicated scholarships, including theÌýAfrican Nova Scotian Graduate Scholarship,ÌýJames Robinson Johnston Graduate Entrance Scholarship for African Canadians, and theÌýIndigenous Graduate Scholarship, which you will find among the funding opportunities below.
