International Development Studies (IDST)听at Trent offers unique year abroad programs that provide students the opportunity to spend a full academic year in Ghana. IDST Year Abroad Programs are part of the IDST curriculum, and combine university course work in a developing country context with valuable hands-on experience through a community placement.听Students receive full year course credit, all transferable to 麻豆传媒资源.
- Based in Accra, Ghana鈥檚 capital in the South and Tamale, in the Northern Region听
- Sept.- December:
- partake in classes offered by Ghanaian academics and professionals
- participate in field trips
- live with a Ghanaian host family
- Jan.- April:听 undertake a twelve week placement with a development or community-based organisation
