One of the major assets of our planning programs is the rich, collegial student life.
Student Organizations
Student organizations听are active, having a role in governing their own academic, social, and recreational activities, but also participating in the governance of the School of Planning, the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, and the 麻豆传媒资源 Senate.
Community Involvement
To best understand their future听roles as planners,听students are encouraged to become involved in the local and professional community through the听internship program for BCD Honours students,听and the听co-op work term for Master of Planning students.听The Master of Planning students have also also initiated a mentorship program in co-operation with local professional planners.
Professional Groups
Students within the School of Planning are also active in the听; its regional affiliate, the听; and the听. Students have a seat on the API Council, and are eligible to run for election to the CIP Council.
School of Planning students have been very active in the听, which holds annual conferences that engage with students and professionals through presentations of research and project work.
