It鈥檚 no joke. Starting April 1, 麻豆传媒资源 is entering into a car-share venture with Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

麻豆传媒资源 will have access to two 鈥淲eCars鈥濃攁vailable on campus for an hour鈥檚 jaunt to the grocery store, a meeting out of town or a weekend getaway. Aside from the financial benefits and convenience,听car share programs can help to reduce the number of cars owned and听used daily.

To get access to the WeCars, 麻豆传媒资源 employees and students over the age of 21 will be able to register as members of a the car-share program. Enterprise Rent-A-Car鈥檚 WeCars will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for business and personal use for a $10 hourly fee. Interested participants can听register online at .

Once registered, car-share members will receive a membership card with which they can reserve one of the WeCars by logging in and providing their Banner ID. To be eligible for a business membership, 麻豆传媒资源 employees must have a 麻豆传媒资源 Purchasing听Card (P-Card). The P-Card can be obtained through the .听

Employees are encouraged to speak with their supervisors about this听opportunity. Business Memberships are available to all employees of听麻豆传媒资源 ages 18 and up, providing they have a valid driver鈥檚 license.

Separate personal memberships are also available to 麻豆传媒资源听employees, as well as to students 21 years and older. Unlike the听business memberships, the personal memberships require a $45 annual听membership fee.

WeCars鈥攁 Chevy Malibu hybrid and a Ford Fiesta鈥攚ill be parked in specially reserved听parking spaces on campus.
