Fifth-year midfielder Teresa Morrison led the women鈥檚 soccer team to victories over both St. FX and CBU over the weekend. The Halifax native scored twice in the Tigers 5-0 win over the St. FX X-Women on Saturday. On Sunday, she set up Dal鈥檚 first goal against the Capers on the way to a 2-1 win. 麻豆传媒资源 has not defeated Cape Breton since the 2004 AUS semifinal game. The Tigers last two games of the season take place Saturday, Oct. 31 at home versus UPEI and Sunday, Nov. 1 vs. Mount Allison
Simon Farine, basketball
Tigers men鈥檚 basketball guard Simon Farine played 118 minutes at Laval鈥檚 Rouge et Or tournament on the weekend, leading his team to a 2-1 record. Mr. Farine scored 26 points in Dal鈥檚 71-67 win over host Laval on Friday. On Saturday, he collected 15 points in the Tigers 57-64 loss to Calgary and on Sunday he was Dal鈥檚 top scorer with 24 points beating Western 80-58. The men鈥檚 basketball team is now 5-1 in pre-season play.
