The Government of Canada has launched a public appointments process for the position of .

IDRC is aiming to achieve gender parity and diversity on its Board of Governors by seeking to attract qualified Canadian candidates for the role of Chairperson, who will help to reflect Canada鈥檚 diversity in terms of linguistic and employment equity groups (i.e., women, Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities and members of visible minorities).

Applicants are asked to apply online by March 29, 2022.

IDRC is one of the world鈥檚 leading institutions in the generation and application of innovative research to meet the challenges facing developing countries.聽IDRC provides technical support and funds researchers from the Global South to help address the problems they identify as crucial to their communities.
