Whereas Â鶹´«Ã½×ÊÔ´ University celebrates the contributions of all people of African descent and values their integral role; and

Whereas Â鶹´«Ã½×ÊÔ´ University understands that we must learn from our past in order to create a truly equitable institution today and for future generations:

I do hereby proclaim the United Nations International Decade for People of African Descent at Â鶹´«Ã½×ÊÔ´ University and will take action to implement the Decade themes of recognition, justice, and development.
